Terms of Service
By creating an account or using Tono, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Tono. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have a parent or guardian's permission.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping access to the email address linked to your account. Anyone with access to that email can sign in. Notify us at support@tonote.app if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the notes, todos, and labels you create in Tono. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, sync, and display that content back to you and your own signed-in devices.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use Tono to store or transmit content that is unlawful, infringes others' rights, or is intended to harm our infrastructure (for example, automated abuse or attempts to break authentication). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Service availability
Tono is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service and may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable notice before discontinuing the service entirely.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tono and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data. Always keep your own backups of anything important.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time — see Delete Account. We may terminate or suspend access if you violate these terms or if we are required to do so by law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date and, where reasonable, notified by email.
