Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Tono account and all associated data at any time, free of charge.

How to request deletion

Send an email to support@tonote.app from the email address associated with your account, with the subject:

Delete my Tono account

Sending the request from your account email is how we verify that the request is genuinely yours. No further information is required.

What happens next

• We will confirm receipt within 72 hours.
• Your account, notes, todos, labels, and active sessions are permanently deleted within 30 days of the request.
• You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.

What gets deleted

• Your email address and account record
• All notes, todos, and labels you have created
• All active and historical sessions

What may be retained

• Operational server logs containing IP addresses and request metadata are retained for up to 7 days for abuse prevention, then automatically purged.
• Records we are legally required to retain, if any.
